Fire Science Program
Admissions
Students must first enroll at San Antonio College. This can be done in the Fletcher Administration Center Room 200 or via the internet.
First entry students must take the ACCUPLACER exam in the Assessment Center located in the Fletcher Administration Center Room 110 to get placement on skill level. Students must meet college skill level for English and Reading.
After completion of above, come to the Protective Services Department located in the Chance Academic Center Room 136 for further advisement.
Before enrolling in the Basic Firefighter Certification Course; it may be necessary to complete a Fire Science course from the Associate Degree or take the EMT-Basic Course through our EMS Program.
