THIRD ACADEMIC DISMISSAL (click for form)

STUDENT APPEAL FOR ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW

In accordance with the published policy of San Antonio College, students who have
accumulated three (3) Academic Dismissals are then required to sit out for
ONE ACADEMIC YEAR
.

AFTER one year, a student may petition the Permanent Academic Dismissal Review
Committee for re-admittance to San Antonio College.


San Antonio College honors Academic Dismissals from other institutions, so transfer
students on Academic Dismissal are required to complete the petition packet.

Instructions to Student (Steps 1-4):

1.  Complete form and print off. If printing first, then write legibly using either blue or black ink.

2.   Write legibly using either blue or black ink. You must complete and sign Parts 1 and 2
      of the student petition; and read, understand, and sign the Enrollment Contract.

3.  Deliver by mail, in person, or fax the entire petition to your Administrator's.

Contact information (fax, phone, offices hours) for each office will be available at
the respective Dean's web site.

No petitions will be accepted after the applicable term has started.

Approximate turn-around time may vary.

You will be contacted by either the Dean or by the
designee(s) at the
telephone number(s) you provide.

Incomplete petition packets will not be considered for administrative review.
