The headquarters and state of the art recording studios of Courtland Records are located inside the $4.7 million Jean Longwith building on the campus of San Antonio College. The name for the label comes from the street this building sits on… The corner of Main and Courtland Place, San Antonio, Texas.

Courtland Records was founded in August 2006 in San Antonio, Texas. This working lab teaches music business students of San Antonio College by giving the hands on experience of running a real business, Courtland Records
