Survey of the Music Business

Course Description: An overview of the music industry including songwriting, live performance, the record industry, music merchandising, contracts and licenses, and career opportuniites.  Discussion regarding music business on the internet will be included.

This course is the prerequisite for all MUSB courses in this program and for several COMMs and RTVB courses in the degree plan.
