Student Life

The RTVF Department at SAC is more than just a place to take classes. Our department is a community of students who share like interests and experiences. It is also a place where diversity thrives. Students from very different backgrounds often meet and bond around a common love of music, media, or freedom of communication.

The RTVF Department can be a lively place. At any given time local musicians may be in the KSYM studios doing a live broadcast, the film club may be having a meeting in another room, students might be editing their student film in another location, or the ProTools audio suite may be in use.

Even the professors get involved. Since advising of RTVF students is handled by the same people who teach the classes, our professors are very familiar with our students. You will see your film production professor on location with you, your audio production professor leading a tour of a local studio, and our colorful KSYM station manager waving to the crowds with you from the KSYM "float" in the annual King William's Parade.

Come be a part of the RTVF family.
