What I like best about the Radio-TV-Film Department is the wide range of backgrounds and experiences of our students. Many of them come to us after being successful in other careers, the military or at other schools and they both lead and learn from our younger students.

Our classes are small so I get to know each student in my classes and we advise each of our students every semester. I also like our hands-on approach to teaching. As early as the first semester of the freshman year, our students are announcing on our FM radio station, KSYM, or producing and directing TV programs and videos.

Our track record of placing graduates in media jobs or transferring to four year schools is excellent.
