A Message from the Dean
Welcome to San Antonio College's Division of Learning Resources. We want your college experience to be positive and we are prepared to help you as much as possible. This division offers you a wide range of services designed to promote your success.
The Librarians are available to help when you have to write a term paper or do other research. They also teach how to best utilize Internet resources including the many databases available to SAC students on campus or from their home computers.
The Student Learning Assistance Center (SLAC), in MLC 726, replicates over 600 academic software packages existing in the other computer labs across campus for student use. It also offers word processing and printing. Students can sign up for free tutoring in a variety of subjects.
Faculty and classified staff can attend a variety of of classes offered by the Instructional Technologies & Innovation Center. The ITIC offers everything from Dreamweaver training to certification classes for Internet instructors.
The Student Multimedia Lab on the fourth floor of the Moody Learning Center provides you with the necessary skills to make your own PowerPoint presentations, CD's, audio recordings, and more. A color copier is also available on the fourth floor for your convenience. The Student Multimedia Lab is a unit within the Division of Media Services.
