The Loftin Student Center houses the Food Court, which features a wide variety of foods, a game room on the second floor, two large screen televisions, and facilities that are available for extracurricular activities such as performers, concerts fiestas, films, speakers, special programs, and game tournaments.

There are lounging and recreational areas, as well as offices for the Student Activities Center, the Student Representative Commission, The Ranger (the San Antonio College weekly newspaper), and Department of Journalism-Photography.

Students may pick up San Antonio bus card applications in the Student Activities Office for discounts on bus fares to and from college, as well as getting approval to post flyers/posters on bulletin boards located throughout the campus. The ID Card Center is located on the second floor. The SAC Bookstore is located in the basement of Loftin.
