- Committee Charge: To develop an improved relationship between the Alamo Community College District board members and San Antonio College faculty. Strategies include focusing on academics, activities and programs involving students and faculty on the college campus.

- Committee Charge: To review and analyze the historic trends of faculty salary increases; and propose (and justify) an adequate raise for the 2009-10 academic year. The committee will evaluate the current salary schedule and recommend improvements if warranted. In addition to reviewing Texas community college salaries, salary schedules of local universities will be reviewed. Historical trends in benefits will also be reviewed and considered as part of the justification for salary increase.

- P-16 Curriculum Alignment initiatives at the state and local level including the development and implementation of college ready standards.
- ACCD pursuit of common catalogues, course descriptions, and other curriculum matters.
- SAC pedagogical training and initiatives.
- SAC outreach programs with P-12 community.
    Elections and Surveys

1) To bring to the Senate any proposed changes to present procedures for conducting Senate elections and surveys.

- Committee Charge: To serve as a liaison between the Faculty Senate and the SAC Technology Center, the SAC Technology Affairs Council, the ACCD District Information Technologies Department and related committees. The Committee should meet regularly and bring to the Senate issues concerning the impact of technology on the educational mission of the College.
