- President and Executive Vice President notify Deans and Directors
- Deans and Directors notify Department Chairpersons and Unit Managers
- Department Chairpersons and Unit Managers are responsible for evacuation of the people under their authority, including students
- Child Development and disABILITY Support Services should be notified first
- Public Relations Officers will coordinate notification of the media if necessary
- The College Web Master will post necessary information on the college web site
- The President or designee will send appropriate e-mail notices
- Shuttle Services will continue to run until students are evacuated
- District vans may be used to evacuate children in the Child Development Center
- Facilities personnel will assist with building evacuation and security
- DPS Officers will handle traffic control
- Via Trans will be called by disABILITY Support Services if necessary
- Students needing to be picked up by friends or relatives will report to the DPS parking lot or to the McAllister parking lot depending on convenience to the student
- Evacuation for inclement weather will include a phased release of employees to reduce congestion
- In case of electrical shortage (lights go out), employees are advised to open office, classroom and lab doors that lead to corridors where emergency lighting is available for safe evacuation
- Anyone wishing to remain on campus during an evacuation must have permission from the President
