Hunger Banquet, Thursday, November 5 in VATC Room 120 from 6-8 pm

The Service-Learning Department and Phi Theta Kappa will host a Hunger Banquet at 6 p.m., on Thursday, November 5 in the VATC room 120.  This event is designed to raise awareness about world hunger. 

Participants will take part in a hunger simulation meant to demonstrate the depth of the problem.  This is a great educational event featuring two guest speakers; Caroline Richardson a volunteer with Children's Vision International In Colombia and Erica Benavides of the San Antonio Food Bank. 

Send your students and/or attend yourself. A donation of $5 or five cans of food per person is recommended and appreciated.  Donations collected will benefit the Phi Theta Kappa Food Pantry.  If you have questions or to RSVP contact Justin Storrs at Jstorrs@alamo.edu or 486-0760.
