The staff here at the SLAC is
busy working on this ongoing project to have a set of notes developed
for Mathematics courses ranging from 0300 to 2412. The objective
of this project is to offer students, who can not make it into the
lab to see one of our tutors, an optional resource where they can
get some help in understanding the material covered in the textbooks.
The notes will be available in both a PowerPoint slideshow format
and also in a PDF format for those students who would like to have
a printed copy. These
notes will be added to our website as they are completed, so check back with
us often to see if there have been any new updates.
In addition to the notes, some sample review exercises will also be added as
soon as they can be setup in an interactive format. If you want some additional
practice problems, visit the Math worksheets in
the SLAC Handouts. These worksheets were developed to accompany the Math video
tapes that are available for viewing in the SLAC.
In order to view the files saved in the PDF format, you will need to have a version
of Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. You will be able to view
these files with version 6 or higher. You can download a copy of the
latest version of Adobe
Acrobat Reader from the Adobe website.
