Mission

The mission of Student Support Services Project (SSSP) is to help make your college years at San Antonio College successful and facilitate your graduation and/or transfer to a four-year college or university.

Student Support Services Project (SSSP) is a federally funded program at San Antonio College that offers Academic, Personal and Career Counseling. In addition to the various counseling services, eligible students may receive tutoring, learning assistance, book lending, and referral services to eligible SAC students.

The professional Counselors and Staff meet with each student for an individualized assessment to determine which services are required. Tutors meet with students on an individual or a group basis, at a set time one or more times per week for the entire semester. We provide tutoring in Math, English and Reading and emphasis is on developmental courses commonly taken by students in their first or second year of college.
