Staff Council Annual School Supply Drive
As the summer came to an end, the San Antonio College Staff Council coordinated its Sixth Annual School Supply Drive for San Antonio children to receive needed assistance. This year’s recipient was Ogden Elementary (SAISD). On Tuesday, August 25, Staff Council members, along with President Zeigler, and Vice Presidents Howard, Mrizek and Vela delivered $1,500 worth of various donations such as pencils, pens, notebooks, backpacks, crayons, and more.
“The smiles on their faces told us how happy the kids were to receive our donations,” said Geraldo Guerra, SAC Staff Council President. “We were delighted to support the school that shows a commitment to the children of our community through fundamental beliefs, commitments and core values.”
