Employee of the Month
Information

Eligibility

1.  Must be Classified or Professional Staff.
2.  Must be full-time employee (hard or soft money).
3.  Must be employed at SAC for minimum of one year.

Nomination Procedure

1.  Any non-administrative employee may make a nomination.
2.  Obtain nomination packet from the Staff Council bulletin board located between FAC 210 and FAC 212 or from the link below.
3.  Print and complete Nomination Form:

4. The following is requested:  AT LEAST two Letters of Recommendation (dated within one year of nomination).

5.  Submit nomination form(s) to Mailbox 95, SAC Staff Council by the 15th of the month.


Considerations include:  dependability, work performance, punctuality, committee involvement,
innovation, problem-solving, assisting others, attendance, self-improvement, community
service, attitude, etc.

The selection follows a 12-month cycle beginning in September of the current year and ending in August of the next  year.  All persons nominated during the year remain eligible until the end of that 12-month cycle.  If your nominee did not receive an award, you may nominate them again during the next 12-month cycle.


Employee of the Month Award

Campus Employee of the Month receives:

1.  Parking space of your choice for entire month; portable sign placed in front of space.
2.  Certificate signed by President of Staff Council and President of the College.
3.  Trophy.
4.  Eligible for District Employee of the Month.

District Employee of the Month receives:

1.  Plaque given at Board Meeting.
2.  Eligible for District Employee of the Year Award.


District Employee of the Year Award receives:

1.  Large plaque.
2.  Recognized by Chancellor and Board of Trustees at ACCD Board Meeting.
