SAC Staff Council is sponsoring its Annual School Supply Drive to assist needy children.
According to Dr. Zeigler, “…one of the initiatives of our college is to work more closely with our immediate neighborhood community, especially the public schools… This…is an important community service in the obvious way of helping young children with their school supplies. The effort also better integrates our college into the neighborhood, acquaints parents with SAC, lets them know we have an interest in their children, and creates good will with teachers and administrators. Your participation is of course voluntary, but if you are interested I encourage your support.”
The school supply drive begins today. Deadlines for donations will be August 15th and August 22nd.
