The following regulations are in effect. The ACCD expects all guests to be aware of these regulations and abide by them.
1) Smoking is prohibited inside any building on the SAC Campus; smoking is allowed 12 feet from building entrances. Alcohol may not be served or consumed on the SAC Campus unless otherwise approved by the SAC President.
2) It is the responsibility of the applicant to inform the Facilities Management Office at least 2 weeks in advance of the event of any furniture, or technical requirements (ex: electrical outlet needs). It is the responsibility of the applicant to arrange Audio Visual Services if needed.
3) Use of the college facilities is restricted to between 7:00am and 12:00 midnight the day of the event. ACCD will not contract with groups for use of facilities after midnight.
4) Guests are permitted in public areas of the campus only. Use of offices or labs is prohibited.
5) No nails, screws, metal hooks, adhesive, scotch tape or other materials of such nature may be driven in or placed on any wall, paneling, molding, or light fixture inside or outside the entire premises. Applicants are responsible for reviewing these needs with caterers, bands, etc. prior to the event.
6) All rental equipment i.e., tables, chairs, etc., are to be delivered no earlier than the day of the event and must be removed from the area immediately following the event. ACCD is not responsible for any items left on college property overnight.
7) Applicants may not move furniture, remove paintings or other wall hangings, or in any way disturb the setting of the facility.
8) Applicants and their guests must vacate the building/room/parking lot immediately at the end of an event except those individuals involved in tear-down or clean-up.
9) Groups using the facility and not affiliated with SAC or ACCD are prohibited from collecting any fees and/or selling tickets at the door for fund-raising or profit. Groups or organizations affiliated with the College District must acquire approval from the College President prior to engaging in any fund-raising activity.
