Mr. Posadas is a native of San Antonio and active globe trotter. He earned his Bachelors in Social Studies and Master’s of Human Sciences concentrating in Education Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University. Prior to becoming Director of Student Life, Mr. Posadas has held many positions in public and private institutions as well as fours year and two year colleges in student affairs such as recruitment, enrollment management, financial aide, retention services, academic advising, multicultural programming, and P-16 initiatives.

Ms. Archer graduated from Texas Lutheran University in December 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in History. In Spring of 2004 she worked as an intern in Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff's Office. The following Spring and Summer she worked as an intern at Texas Parks and Wildlife's Sebastopol State Historic Site in Seguin, Texas. During her last three semesters at TLU she worked as a Resident Assistant in the Freshman Dorms and Junior Apartments.  She is currently a Graduate student at the University of Texas San Antonio in the Higher Education Administration Student Affairs program.

Carrie joined the Student Life department in 1986 and has been an employee of San Antonio College since the summer of 1984. As a Student Activities Specialist at San Antonio College, Carrie plans and organizes various student activity programs and special events. Over the years, she has assisted in facilitating events such as our “Live in Loftin” Band Series, Karaoke, Festivals, Film Series, Talent Shows, Fashion Shows, Dream Date Auctions, Wild West Rodeo Roundups, Spa Days, Psychic Fairs, and Stress Out Days featuring attractions such as Bouncy Boxing, Velcro Wall, Trampoline Thing, Human Bowling, Sumo Wrestling, and various novelty acts and performers. Carrie enjoys working with various on-campus clubs and organizations to help facilitate their events when necessary and assists the Hispanic Heritage committee in planning their Hispanic Heritage Celebration events. As of September 2008, Carrie was given the title of “Go Green Specialist” and is currently overseeing the recycling program at San Antonio College.

Ms. Daggett worked many years as a medical records secretary and apartment manager then returned to college and received an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Medical Assisting from San Antonio College in May, 1990.  She continued with her college career to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in May, 1993 and became a Registered Nurse in July, 1993.  Ms. Daggett began working for San Antonio College as the Health Center Coordinator in February, 1994.  Ms. Daggett became a member of the adjunct faculty at San Antonio College in Jan. 1998, teaching for the Medical Assisting Program.

Ms. Noriega graduated in 1968 from Technical School of Vocational Nursing.  Soon after she began working at Nix Memorial Hospital.  In 1971, she began working for a pediatrician for two years.  In 1973, Ms. Noriega began working for Child Care Associates, another pediatric group, until May, 1995 when she left the pediatric practice.  In September 1995, Ms Noriega returned to the work force by coming to work at San Antonio College Health Center as the College Nurse.

Ms. Smith has been a Registered Nurse for 28 years.  She is a member of the Veterans Administration Hospital staff.  Ms. Smith has certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and is an instructor for CPR/AED training.  Ms. Smith has been the Evening Nurse at San Antonio College Health Center since November, 2003.

Ms. Knight started her college career after being a dedicated homemaker.  Ms. Knight began taking Medical Assisting classes at San Antonio College in August, 2001.  During her first semester in college, in addition to her class load, she came to the College Health Center as a work-study employee.  In February, 2004 Ms. Knight was given the more permanent position of Clerk II.  Ms. Knight is scheduled to graduate in May, 2007.
