Spring 2006 Ft. Worth Trip
San Antonio College Student Art Guild

Our trip to Ft. Worth, Texas, began on Friday, April 28,

with our departure from the San Antonio College art department parking lot at 9:00 a.m.  After a few stops for lunch and whatever, we arrived at our motel, checked in, and went to the Kimbell Museum of Art in downtown Ft. Worth. At the Kimbell we viewed the current exhibitions, including the Asian and Egyptian works of art.  On Saturday, April 29, we headed for the Modern Art Museum of Ft. Worth, especially to view the Chuck Close exhibit, the main focus of our trip.
