Welcome to Arts 1303, an internet course of San Antonio College.   Arts 1303 explores prehistoric and ancient art world-wide from the earliest known art to approximately 1350. The western tradition in art is discussed as the basis for material culture in western civilizations, along with artistic traditions of the eastern world, Africa beyond Egypt, and the ancient arts of pre-Columbian and Native America.
