Kimmelman Scholarship

 

Administered by SAC WOMEN'S CENTER In Conjunction with Temple Beth-El Permanent Charities Foundation and United Way.The Kimmelman Child Care Scholarship was established to provide subsidized child care to qualifying families who are attempting to attain self-sufficiency. The Kimmelman Financial Child Care Scholarship Fund provides full or partial child care assistance based on the financial needs of the family.  Recipients will be selected by the Kimmelman Review Committee on the basis of the established criteria, the content of the application, and the availability of funds.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • U.S. Citizen

  • Resident of Bexar County for at least one year

  • Attend San Antonio College 

  • Minimum Enrollment:
    6 hours (if working at least 20 hours per week)
    12 hours (if not working)

  • Demonstrate financial need

  • GPA of 2.5 or higher
