Parent/Child Scholarship Program

In 1997, a partnership was developed between the Alamo Community College District (ACCD) Foundation, the San Antonio College Women's Center and the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Council No 2 to create the LULAC Rey Feo-Reina De Las Flores Parent /Child Scholarship program. The LULAC Scholarship committee has donated $25,000 each year to establish a scholarship endowment in the name of the participant's child. Due to the remarkable success of the program, for 2008 the number of scholarships awarded will be increased from 25 to 31. One of these scholarships will be the Lisa Flores Memorial Scholarship.
