First offered in the Fall of 1996, this highly successful program addresses the special needs of returning women students and single parents in an environment of support and safety.

It provides support for women who:

• Need to re-enter the workforce or change careers.

• Need support in their return to school.

• Are concerned about having to "juggle" school and family.

• Are interested in the class.
  
  In this class women can:

  • Network with other women as a way to gain support and meet new friends.

  • Gain confidence while learning how to be a successful student.

  • Identify skills and interests to determine career direction.

  • Meet the student orientation requirement and learn more about themselves in the process.
