Personal and Academic Success Class

First offered in the Fall of 1996, this highly successful program addresses the special needs of returning women students, single parents and other non-traditional students in an environment of support and safety.

It provides support for individuals who:

  • Need to re-enter the workforce or change careers.

  • Need support in their return to school.

  • Are concerned about having to "juggle" school and family.

  • Are interested in the class.

    In this class you can:

    • Network with others women as a way to gain support and meet new friends.

    • Gain confidence while learning how to be a successful student.

    • Identify skills and interests to determine career direction.

    • Meet the student orientation requirement and learn more about themselves in the process.
