Textbook Assistance

 

Textbook assistance is available through the SAC Women's Center textbook lending library for eligible  PROFESSIONAL & TECHNICAL EDUCATION STUDENTS

TO QUALIFY:

*You must be officially enrolled in a PROFESSIONAL & TECHNICAL EDUCATION Program at San Antonio College (Pre-nursing does not qualify.)

*You must be registered for the semester for which you are requesting textbook assistance

*You must demonstrate financial need (Pell Grant, Food Stamps, TANF, WIC,)  

*Must be enrolled in at least one or more courses in major

*You must be in good standing with the Women's Center textbook lending library program


To obtain textbook assistance students can stop by the Women's Center to inquire when applications are available. Textbooks for qualified students will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis on the assigned dates. There are a limited number of textbooks, not all textbooks are available.

Students who have returned textbooks late will not be eligible to utilize the lending library for their next registered semester. Students who have not returned textbooks permanently lose the privilege of borrowing textbooks from the Women's Center textbook lending library program.
