Application & Selection Process

Applications for admission to the Medical Laboratory Technician  (MLAB) program are accepted throughout the year.  Students are conditionally accepted for the fall semester pending completion of the Allied Health Department requirements.  Students may be accepted into the program during the spring semester providing they have fulfilled the department and program requirements and there is space available in the classes.  It is required that students submit a completed application packet once prerequisites have been completed for consideration for the next available class.  After receiving the completed application packet, an interview with the program director will be scheduled.

Enrollment is limited to fifteen students.  Applications will be accepted until the class is filled.  Part-time students are also accepted into the program with permission of the program director.

The Phlebotomy training program is offered each semester.  No formal application is required for the training.  Enrollment to the program is limited to twenty students each semester.
