Admission & Prerequisite Requirements
Students wishing to major in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program must
meet all admission requirements for acceptance to St. Philip's College and the
Allied Health Department.
In addition to the above, all students must meet the following five
prerequisite courses:
- ENGL 1301 Freshman Composition I
- BIOL 2401 Human Anatomy & Physiology I
- BIOL 2402 Human Anatomy & Physiology II
(This course is not a prerequisite for applying to the program, but must be
completed prior to beginning the first semester of the PTA program.)
- PHYS 1305 Introduction to Physics or higher
- MATH 1314 College Algebra or higher
