Home Building
The Homebuilding Program has a two year program leading to an Associate
Degree in Applied Science and a one-year certificate of completion program. The
courses present the details of residential construction cast in a context which
emphasize the supervisory use of such knowledge by the foreman, superintendent,
and generals contractor.
The Associate Degree program includes both on-the-job work and classroom
study and was designed in cooperation with the Greater San Antonio Builders
Association and a consortium of contractors who act as an Advisory Committee for
the program.
