Practicum Student Resources
Beginning Practicum
To begin taking your first practicum, students will need to follow a few
steps. Foremost, contacting the Early Childhood Studies Student Advisor is
necessary to enroll in the course. Students will then contact the Early
Childhood Studies Program Director to identify a practicum site and set up an
agreement between St. Philip's College and the other community partner. A few
other steps include completing a drug screening, criminal background check, and
a tuberculosis screening, prior to enrolling in your practicum.
