Welcome to the Mathematics Department
Our mission
is to afford our students a quality educational environment
which stimulates critical thinking, develops an understanding of mathematical concepts and their applications, and fosters an
appreciation for all of these. We seek to provide meaningful and useful
learning experiences to meet the diverse needs of students from a wide variety
of ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds. We provide a variety of
instructional formats to meet the individual needs of the students through both
face-to-face and Internet classes. We take pride in the individual
attention given to students to encourage personal growth and enhance
self-esteem.
