RNSG 1301 Pharmacology

Admission Criteria

The applicant must be admitted to St. Philip's College prior to being accepted into the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Mobility Program. Please refer to the current catalog for the general admission criteria. This is a Texas Success Initiative (TSI) liable program.  For current TSI information, please contact the Admission's Office (210) 531-4832.

The applicant desiring admission to the ADN Mobility Program must:

1. Fulfill all requirements as stated above

2.  Hold a current license to practice vocational nursing in the state of Texas

3.  Complete all of the required prerequisite courses with a grade of C or better and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above

4.  Have a minimum overall GPA of 2.0 or above

5.  Submit three letters of reference (One must be from a Registered Nurse who has worked with the applicant) and one from a direct supervisor

6.  Two official copies of all college-level academic transcripts (one goes directly to the registrar and one bring one copy to the nursing department)

7.  Submit three letters

8. Submit a completed application packed by the posted deadline. After the deadline, completed applications will be reviewed by a Nursing Admission Council, composed of at least two faculty members and the program director
 

9. Meet the application deadlines for the program;
