Advisors In Residence
Welcome to St. Philip's College. The Advisors-In-Residence was
established in 2003 with the intention of providing quality advising to
students in each academic and vocational department. As of the Spring of 2008,
there is now a full-time Advisor-In-Residence in every department. The AIRs help
students with their class schedules, work on degree audits, substitution of
courses, referrals from faculty members, and preparation for graduation.
They also help a student become ready to succeed in the workplace, be prepared
for lifelong
learning, become productive members of society and have a strong desire to
continue to strive for higher education. The Advisors-In-Residence are committed
to providing quality of service, support, and encouragement to the college
student body, while building a foundation of trust within the student-advisor
relationship.
