VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program
We are pleased to announce that the VITA program will be
offered though the Department of Continuing Education beginning in the fall of
2007. The ACNT 1413 class will be transformed and offered as a Continuing
Education course to train volunteers that will actually do the tax preparation in the spring of
2008. Volunteers are not limited just to our accounting students, but can come
from the community at large. If you are a community member and are interested in
becoming qualified, please feel free to contact us about future training to
become a volunteer tax preparer.
