Academy of Health Career Training
Within the Division of Workforce Development and Continuing Education, the
Academy of Health Career Training (AHCT) is the provider of health career and
hospitality training programs. We are committed to the delivery of
relevant and cutting-edge training opportunities to the San Antonio community
and beyond. We are often the first step for those individuals looking to enter
the healthcare arena for the first time.
Many of our training programs are offered at the St. Philip's College main
campus in San Antonio, TX, and at the Central Texas Technology Center (CTTC) in
New Braunfels, TX. An AHCT rep will be at CTTC every Monday morning from 8:00am
to 12:00pm, and every Friday afternoon from 1:00pm to 5:00pm to provide
advising, application, and registration assistance.
In addition to basic training programs, the Academy of Health Career Training
also offers update classes to healthcare professionals with licenses that
require yearly continuing education hours to maintain such certifications.
