Mortgage Broker and Loan Officer Program
The Academy of Professional Development and Training is launching the
Mortgage Broker and Loan Officer Program in fall 2008. The program is a
partnership between St. Philip's College Division of Workforce Development and
Continuing Education, and the M&T Paradigm/Financial Institute. Upon successful
completion of the training program, students are qualified to register for the
Texas State Examination.
This 60-hour course covers these topics:

- Fair Credit Reporting Act
- Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act
- Truth in Lending Regulation
- Home Mortgage Broker License Act
- High Cost Home Loan Information

- Real Estate Financing
- General Loan Terms, Common Knowledge and Mortgage Practices
- Mortgage Math
