Paralegal Certificate Course
This 240 hour certification program is designed for beginners and advanced
legal workers alike. Each student is trained to assist trial attorneys,
interview witnesses, investigate complex fact patterns, research the law and
assist in preparing courtroom litigation cases. The certification
methodology is structured to allow students to familiarize themselves with
practices related to those areas of law in which legal assistants are most in
demand. Students will increase their office efficiency and productivity,
and learn new marketable job skills. This non-credit program will award
successful graduates a Certificate of Completion from St. Philip's College,
Division of Workforce Development and Continuing Education.
Cost:
- Each class in the series costs $175.
- There is also a required textbook which costs about $150.
Students will take the following courses:
- All classes meet Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00pm-9:00pm
