Teacher Certification Center
The Alternative Teacher Certification Program is a non-traditional educator
preparation program for teachers who hold a Bachelor's degree or higher. The
Alternative Teacher Certification Program will involve college coursework and
other professional development experiences as well as intense mentoring and
supervision during the candidate's first year in the role of educator.
With today's economy many people are considering teaching as an option.
Teaching is a profession, a career! To better prepare you for the needs of the
students in our schools, St. Philip's College is offering a DUAL CERTIFICATION

and most importantly, prepared to work with ALL students and any needs they may
have, especially if you receive the special education certification for early
childhood to twelfth grade (EC-12). Come join St. Philip's College and make a
difference in a student's life!
