What is READI?
Readiness for Education At a Distance Indicator
READI is a computerized survey that will help you determine your ability to succeed at Internet courses.
You will answer questions about:
- How well you can use a computer
- How motivated, organized, and self-directed you are
- How you prefer to learn new information
But, relax! READI is fun! St. Philip’s College provides READI to help you understand your strengths and weaknesses as you prepare to learn online. READI is a tool to help you succeed!
Your scores will not keep you from taking online classes, nor will your scores affect your grade in courses you may already be taking.
So how do you get started?
After you complete READI, you will view a webpage of your scores, with easy to interpret graphics and text. You also may receive an email telling you about sources of support in the areas where you need assistance.
