The meeting was called to order at

There was no electorate to be heard.

There was no one to be heard.
· Faculty Senators said that they did not receive the minutes from the November 6 meeting via email. Sylvia Phillips agreed to email them before the January meeting.
·
Sandra Snavely reported that we spent
$202 for the Chancellor’s Reception and
that a total of $237.92 was spent in November. The treasury currently has
$1262.08.

While discussing the chancellor’s
reception,

The stand for the ceremonial mace is
now available at the SPC Main Campus, but the medallion still needs to be
worked on.

Jennifer Garland and Mary Hayes spoke
with people about finishing the mace.
Status of Step Increases
·
The chancellor has agreed to try to
sell the board on a step increase.
·
The health insurance increase has left
a $2.3 million deficit in the ACCD budget.
·
There is a proposal to ask each college
president to contribute $1.891% for a step increase.
·
All Faculty are encouraged to attend
the Budget and Committee District meeting to be held Friday, December 12.
·
If the step increase is approved, it
will only apply for the spring semester, not for the fall and spring.
·
