Jorge Trevino is currently serving as Director of Institutional Advancement and Development. His previous assignments with St. Philip's College include having served as the Director of Workforce Training and Interim Vice President of Administration at the Southwest Campus. His focus was on developing and managing school-to-work and short-term training programs. Additionally, his work experiences include serving as Owner/General Manager, Trevino Investments, Inc.; Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Webb County Title and Abstract Co., Inc.; Senior Vice President and Member Board of Directors for the Union National Bank of Laredo; Director of Fiscal Services, Mercy Hospital Regional Medical Center; and Comptroller, Modern Form Company, Inc.

Mr. Trevino has a Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&I  University at Laredo with a concentration in Business Administration and General Business. An Associate of Arts Degree in Business from Laredo Junior College. A certificate in Bank Management & Supervision from the Wharton School of Finance. A certificate in Supervision and Management from Texas A&M University.

Sharon Crockett-Bell, Ph.D.

Sharon Crockett-Bell is the Assistant Director for Institutional Advancement and Development. She works closely with the director to identify, solicit, and provide stewardship for gifts and grants from government agencies, foundations, corporations, businesses, alumni and individual donors. Additionally, she collaborates with community partners for funding projects and coordinates alumni activities.

Dr. Crockett-Bell has a Doctorate of Philosophy in Education, with a specialization in Leadership for Higher Education from Capella University, Minneapolis, Minnesota; a Master of Arts, Human Resources Development, Webster University, Saint Louis, Missouri and a Bachelor of Arts, Sociology, The University of Texas, San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Crockett-Bell has been a member of the St. Philip's College community since 1998. She has served as recruiter/advisor and coordinator for the Dual Credit Program, a program that affords high school students an opportunity to earn college credits prior to graduating from high school. Additionally, she has worked as a Training Manager in the Instructional Innovation Center, where she coordinated workshops, and other training programs for faculty and staff.

Sara Kirby

Sara Kirby researches and writes grants from both public and private sources which include foundations and corporations, with a primary focus on government agency grants. She assists project directors and departments with the ACCD grant process, management and research for new funding opportunities.

Ms. Kirby brings over 20 years experience in program and project management; business development; fund development and grant writing; community and public relations; event planning; corporate marketing and communications; instructional design and training; technical writing, editing and documentation; marketing collateral design, web development and professional presentations.

Ms. Kirby holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Management from Regis University in Denver, Colorado and Interior Design certification from the Inchbald School Design in London, England.

Gloria Hernandez

Gloria P. Hernandez conducts web and other types of research for grant applications, assists in the development of grant proposals and budgets, maintains the grant database, and coordinates the department website. She is responsible for preparing various department and district grant reports. Additionally, she coordinates travel and special events for the department. For the past three years, Ms. Hernandez has facilitated the Employee Charitable Campaign.

Ms. Hernandez has an Associate of Arts from San Antonio College and Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education with a major in Business Administration. She has worked in several capacities over the past 17 years with the Alamo Community College District.

Mary Grant

Mary Grant is responsible for all business matters pertaining to the Alumni Affairs division within the Office of Institutional Advancement. She maintains the alumni data base, drafts correspondence, billings, mail-out renewals and newsletters, participates in fundraising activites and special projects, processes administrative paperwork for scholarship donations to the Heritage Tree, and serves as a liaison to the St. Philip's Alumni Association and Friends.

Additionally, she performs all other secretary support duties including conducting purchases, direct-pays, ordering supplies, travel requests, and assists with grant research. She has also developed close partnerships with local businesses in the community. She has been a member of the St. Philip's College community since 1983 and has served in several capacities with Alamo Community College District as Computer Operator, Lab Tech V, Learning Resource Specialist IV, and taught Basic and CRT usage classes.

Ms. Grant has an Associate of Applied Science from St. Philip's College, and she has completed 84 hours towards a Bachelor's degree at Wayland Baptist University.
