Scholarships, both internal and external, offered at St. Philip's College and the Alamo Community College District can be found here.

The Colleges of the Alamo Community College District will award a limited number of scholarships based on the availability of institutional and private funds, to academically meritorious or needy students. The scholarships may range from $300 - $1,500 per academic year (Sept.-May) and $150 - $750 when awarded by semester.

Institutional scholarships are provided to assist academically-deserving students; however, students with demonstrated need will also be considered. All scholarships and other financial aid already awarded will be taken into consideration when determining eligibility.

Recipients of the institutional scholarship are required to:

  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid for need-based consideration.
  • Be enrolling as a first time in college or returning ACCD student with fewer than 90 cumulative college credit hours attempted.
  • Pursuing an Associate Degree, Certificate of Completion, or transfer program at the ACCD Colleges.
  • Enrolled for 6 - 12 hours depending on scholarship criteria.
  • Have and maintain a satisfactory GPA (2.00 - 4.00).
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress as required by Student Financial Services. (REFER TO COLLEGE CATALOG), and not be in default or owe a refund to any other college.
  • U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
