Angie S. Runnels Staff Enrichment Scholarship
The St. Philip's College Staff Council now offers Dr. Angie S. Runnels Staff
Enrichment Scholarship for eligible staff members. Each semester, one recipient
will be chosen to receive a $500 scholarship to be used for educational
purposes. You may be eligible to receive this scholarship if you:
- Are a full-time, permanent staff member with at least one year of
service
- Are seeking either educational enrichment or a college degree
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and are enrolled in 3 hours or
more (if already enrolled in credit courses)
- Provide a personal letter explaining why you would like to be awarded
(must demonstrate financial need)
- Provide two letters of recommendation (e.g. professor, colleague,
supervisor, etc.)
To apply, submit the following items to the Award Committee Chair (contact
information below):
- Your completed application (attached)
- Your personal letter
- A degree plan or letter of educational intent
- Official copies of all transcripts
- Two letters of recommendation
- Proof of enrollment (current transcripts, course schedule, or bill)

Please Note: All non-St. Philip's College students will be taxed on their
scholarship, resulting in a reduced award.
