The African American Men on the Move (AAMM) are hosting, “Not Your Ordinary Study Hall” every Thursday throughout the Fall 08 semester. Join us on Thursdays, 2pm – 5pm, in the Turbon Student Center. Bring your books, pencils and paper and be prepared for a new study experience.

Single Mothers with Sons Picnic

March 2009

This event features activities that help to build character and self esteem of the young participants. The participants win prizes and get a keepsake to remember the occasion. Throughout the event the boys (ages 5 - 13 yrs.) are encouraged to:

  • help with chores
  • demonstrate respect and good manner
  • do well in schools
