John W. Westerbeck

Office Coordinator.  Mr. Westerbeck is a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel (0-6) with 27 years of service.  He has a B.B.A. in Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of North Texas.  He also has a M.S. in Counseling and Guidance (Personnel Counseling) from Troy State University, and a M.Ed. in Counseling and Guidance (Student Affairs emphasis) from Texas State University (formerly Southwest Texas State University).  Prior to assuming the Coordinator position in November 2000, he served 4 years as a financial aid officer at Texas State University.

Tony Gable

Lawrence A. (Tony) Gable

Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist (Chapter 31).  Tony has worked in the office since March 2001.  He is a retired U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sergeant (E-8) with 26 years of service.  He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Wayland Baptist University.  He also has three associate degrees.  The two from St. Philip's are in business administration and in e-business.  The third is from the Community College of the Air Force in administrative assistant.

Gloria De Luna

Certification Specialist.  Gloria De Luna has worked in the office since March 1988.  She handles Chapter 30 (Montgomery GI Bill (MGIB), Chapter 32 (Veterans Education Assistance Program), Chapter 35 (Survivors' and Dependents Educational Educational Assistance), Chapter 1606 (Selected Reserve (MGIB), and Chapter 1607 (REAP).
