The Mission of the Wellness Team at St. Philip's College is to promote the
quality of life through incentives and activities of mind, body and spirit for
all faculty and staff.
Opportunities
REGISTER for a Kinesiology class using your
Employee Tuition Assistance Program (ETAP)
benefits. Pat Heckman will assist you with the paperwork if necessary.
WALK/JOG OUTSIDE:
The Health & Fitness Center locker rooms/showers will be
available to you during normal building hours: M-R 0800 - 06:30 pm and F
08:00 - 04:30 pm. The locker rooms are located "under" the bleachers.
You may store your personal belongings in the locker, secured with your own lock
while you are out exercising. The locker must be cleared and the lock
removed immediately after you conclude your exercise session.

OPEN GYM HOURS:
Weight Room, Aerobic Studio and pool, hours are posted on the
Kinesiology Department
Webpage. Bring your ACCD ID and sign-in at the Health & Fitness Center
desk. Personal belongings/gym bags may not be brought into the
activity areas.
GUEST OF THE INSTRUCTOR:
With the permission of the instructor, participate in class
activities. See Emily Staats for additional details on this trial offer.
INTRAMURAL ACTIVITIES:
Participate in intramural activities. See link posted
on the

Mondays @ 12:15-12:45 pm or by appointment. Health &
Fitness Center Pool. Learn how to get comfortable around the water.

WALK IT OFF:
Wednesday @ 12:15-12:45 pm. Open enrollment!
Walking support group. Meet outside of the Health & Fitness Center.

Fridays @ 1:00 - 3:00 pm. or by appointment. Open
Enrollment! Learn what you can do when your co-worker isn't just sleeping
on the job!
